How Chrono Trigger made it on Mobile Phones
While Chrono Trigger Mobile might not be much of a name, Japanese fans got to play the famous game in Spring 2011. Just about every single Square Enix fan adores the game, and it was extremely influential on the entire catalog of titles that the company featured over the years. Though one might be quick to say that mobile phone games are only for casual gamers and shouldn’t be considered a viable platform for such games, Chrono Trigger was great on the Nintendo DS and can do extremely well on the small screen.
Moreover, Chrono Trigger might have been considered for a mobile phone release over some other games because of the strong star power that the game has. The game was created by what Square calls their dream team. Akira Toriyama did the art for the game, and most people probably remember him best for his work on Dragon Ball. Yuji Horri created Dragon Quest, which ironically enough Akira Toriyama did the artwork on. Finally, Hironobu Sakaguchi also worked on Chrono Trigger, and fans might recognize Sakaguchi as the creator of Final Fantasy. With names like that being thrown around, its actually kind of hard not to make it onto mobile devices. The information doesn’t stop now. Keep looking: Geeky Chrono Trigger Alphabet
