The End of the Mega Man Franchise

Megaman was one of the most popular games in the 1990’s. The popularity of the game slowly waned up to this point. It was the number one video game for the distributor Capcom. Recently, Megaman Legends 3 was cancelled during development. Other Megaman games have been recently cancelled. The fact is, all the recent Megaman projects died during the development stage. The 17-year Soulcalibur V Storyline Gap

At the end of the events in Soulcalibur IV, the knight known as Siegfried Schtauffen defeated Nightmare, the evil incarnation of the Soul Edge blade.
